I am going to mirror my http://lwtc247.blog.co.uk account here, and maybe completely move here. The reasons:
1) The network I sit behind has frequent connectivity problems with bcuk, drastically reducing the number of hours per day I can access my blog., I don’t think its the network firewall either! WordPress doesn’t have those issues.
2) I have suffered numerous e-headaches when composing with bcuk’s editors. If I use a HTML program to compose a post beforehand (sensible as composing live sometimes results in the composition being getting lost) bcuk commonly gives errors saying ‘tag abc’ isn’t allowed inside ‘tag xyz’.
3) Using the advanced editor on a pre-composed article, often terminates where an apostraphy is present in the body of the text.
4) The media upload on bcuk is slow and is very messy when wanting to include more than one image in an article. I hope WP doesn’t have a similiar problem, but I don’t forsee it.
5) I need a spellchecker. The “Russian keyboards” cause me many typo problems which are far too time consuming to resolve manually.
Some of these problems are possibly due to me, but using a package may help me avoid these problems will help.
