Christmas in Hedonia – Reflections of a Muslim

Over Christmas, I’m spending some time in Hedonia. Hedonia is the capital of Hedonism – the place where desires are fulfilled. Actually to be more accurate, there are a few Hendonias, I just happen to be staying in one of them.

Well today is Christmas and someone I know treated me to a buffet meal of excellent cuisine (an eat all you want type affair).

There were some signs of Christmas around the place, some party poppers (a relatively new phenomenon of which the marketing men must be most proud), some Christmassy decorations, a few ‘Seasons Greetings’ type thingies stuck on the walls, and some dude dressed up as Santa, handing out some toys (Made in China) and there was the usual ‘leisure facility’ band singing some Christmas type songs.

While I was eating – admittedly pretty far beyond my means, the band started singing some Christmas song containing a repeated line saying something like ‘let us remember his [Jesus’] name’. Consciously thinking bout the environment, I don’t think a single person was remembering his name let alone his message/ the meaning of his life. Jesus was relegated to an amateur entertainment act; background music which that nobody was really listening to.

And it was mighty sad indeed.

The VERY last of the prophets to come (on this earth) which will mark an unprecedented and most tumultuous period of man, is being treated as an irrelevance where even the tanned Santa had more of peoples life-force attention devoted to him.

Well I was in Hedonia. What did I expect !?

This particular Hedonia is in a Muslim County, where it seems not only were the White foreign, presumed Christian tourist contingent ignoring Jesus, but the Muslims ignored him even more! I’ve written an article on Muslims attitudes to Jesus before, so I won’t repeat it, but it is very sad indeed to see the meaning of Christmas ‘doubly’ ignored.

But even in the UK branch of Hedonia, The ‘new agers’ and ‘agnostic spiritualists’ seemed to have muscled their way into Christmas too, once more elbowing out Jesus and the whole meaning of his life (and meaning of his life to come once he returns), replacing it with the ‘Good will to man’ and New Years salutations, you know, those greetings about which any thoughts/practicality/actions in that direction expire the moment the end of the catchphrase is uttered.

Earlier in the day, the ‘body beautifuls’ were parading around, leaving very little to the imagination. I am sure some of them were deliberately showing off, their impossible glossy magazine figures which surely were an advert about them that their body is their temple and that their body shape defined/provided them with their lifestyle. Yip, when I saw these Nefertiti’s I did averting my eyes, which was pretty tricky, not just because the female of the species is my strongest kind of allure, but seemingly, it was impossible to establish a new line-of-sight without some other body beautiful being in the way! – well, a bit like that anyway. Before I head off on a tangent, I was just looking at all those people and saw them standing virtually completely isolated from the purpose of their lives (i.e. to worship God). There were hundreds of them just focusing on ‘having a good time’, people for whom their holiday was an opportunity to achieve their pinnacle of joy. It was of course a joy firmly routed in the dhunya (this world) and I guessed their thought could never possibly hope to conceive of anything other than this world – or rather, that’s how I thought of them at the time anyway.

And please don’t write in saying Jesus wasn’t born on 25th December so Christmas is phoney anyway, because that’s utterly irrelevant to what I am talking about i.e. Christmas (as I have already alluded to) is about the actual significance and meaning of Jesus’ life.

I am in Hedonia(major) for a purpose and will shortly leave and head back to Hedonia(minor)

It’s been a interesting and sad day, and I know as part of Hedonia I am contributing to it in some kind of indefinable way.

Good day, and have a religious Christmas.

1) Water vapor in the atmosphere is said to account for what RANGE of global waming ?

2) What is the latest calculation for the increase in global warming due to man made CO2?

Joshua Blakeney: The Origins of The War On Terror

There’s stagnation regarding 9/11 truth. Almost nothing new is being uncovered now. The case that it was an inside job is pretty much complete, yet there is ZERO chance of those insiders getting prosecuted for it.

All that’s left, is just for different people to speak about it in their own way. This is still useful – especially for citizen skeptic – as one can learn how to be able to conduct oneself in a good manner when discussing it or debating it with the intention of opening up people’s minds, or even trying to get them to change their mind.

As such I’ll share with you someone I’d not heard of before: Mr. Joshua Blakeney.

P.S. 7/7 truth is heading in the stagnation terminus also and it’s almost there.

BBZ Newz on the year 1811

I hate the BBZ (British Broadcasting Zionism), more well-known by its nom de plume: the BBC).

Actually, to be accurate, it’s the News and Current Affairs section I hate. In fact, i’d go so far as to say most of those who write this quazi-news propaganda and determine its output are scum.

But you may already know that.

What I want to point out today is, the BBC publishes a story about newspaper articles from 1811 which have gone online. It had the potential to have been a real interesting piece of news and commentary. Alas, the BBZ has BBC-ified it. That said, the property of the subject matter manages to prevent it from suffering total “death by BBC”.

In its coverage, there are numerous comparisons between 1811 and 2011, aspects such as, astronomy, work related strife, museums, Navy funding, even user of ‘eye catching’ tabloidic headlines (now widely exploited by the BBZ), but one glaring omission on the subjct of war.

The omission? Well, breaking with the consistent comparisons of 1811 and 2011 across multiple topics, there is no comparison or mention of David Camerons 2011 wars and those of 1811.

2011 sees war against the people in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya and the looming war against Iran. Why is there no comparison made here?

Lets list the wars the UK was involved in during this period. As the ZBC says, there wars were

UK against France (Napolenic war)

UK against Portugal (Iberian Peninsular War)

There are many more wars that the British are pursuing during this time. Not to mention build-up to one of the ‘biggies’ in 1812 when American colonialists revolted thanks to the oppressive British.

Let me propose the reason why no comparison is made.

i) To avoid a reminder that Cameron is in fact another warring Prime Minister

ii) To avoid connection Britain and Cameron to Imperialism (and ongoing Imperialism).

iii) To avoid mention of British Imperialism is pretty much taboo these days.

iv) To try and preserve the glorified history of the British military’s Imperial past and present (but not mention it by name).

Here, the BBC is certainly top heavy in glorifying war, showing HMS Hermes smashing into a French ship and mentioning tributes and a poem about some idiot officer who probably had virtually no legitimate reason to be fighting, shedding the blood of others and ultimately his own blood, causing misery and hardship for his family, all for the benefit of wealthy and secure filthy elite, who regularly send such fools to fight for even greater benefit.

The comparison with 2011 army dupes and those of 1811 is also avoided. They share a similarity in shared stupidity devoid of human spirit, morality and ethics  – off to kill some dark skinned people somewhere – and get a kick out of doing it [link to British army torture/beatings/killings].

Readers might point out to the space given to an officer in Portugal writing of the horror befalling civilians in war, but it stinks of an attempt to blame hunger in isolation and not because of the war the British were involved in.

On war in this story, there no commentary attributing blame or even questioning of engaging in these wars past (by omitting wars present of course there will be no comment!) i.e. whether war should take place – was Britain attacked etc, and no comment from the BBZ as to whether what was published in 1811 was filtered and used for shaping society or in fact, just blatant  propaganda. No space is given to revealing any subversive comments that may have made it into the 1811 newspapers or if there were none, then why were one printed.

The BBZ once again sanitizes war, talking about it as though it were an abstract thing. But it is not. War is caused by human antics, greed and folly. It also seems to cherry picked particles which as at risk of repeating myself, fail to challenge the orthodoxy of 1811 or even, of today! A brief mentioning a few pre-Luddites and todays Occupy Movement simply isn’t good enough.

Once again the BBC throws out it’s pixie dust and falls in its duty to challenge acceptance of the most dire things imaginable, e.g. war.

What a lamentable thing the BBC Newz and Current Affairs dept is.

(trivially)interesting for 1/15 minutes
