Three questions for warmists

1) Water vapor in the atmosphere is said to account for what RANGE of global waming ?

2) What is the latest calculation for the increase in global warming due to man made CO2?

3) If your a warmist, don’t you feel an complete idiot after reflecting upon the (correct) answers to the above two questions?

another anti-AGW post

It’s only very recently that I’ve watched something by Christopher Monckton (the RTE interview with Jin Corr was the first), but I like what I hear.

YouTube his video’s if you’re interested.

Global CooWarming

Very battered and bruised from the loss of a very strong and pounding post I made over a month ago regarding a one of the BBC’s environmental newz articles, I dare to venture back into the arena.

This time regarding http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-14476389

The article is about the apparent reduction in ‘growth rate’ of atmospheric methane. The sloppy article fails to say whether the rate is positive or negative (i.e. the actual level is increasing or decreasing – I don’t have time to read the source, I’m only commenting on the BBC part of it).

If the article was about the increase in growth rate, the article would surely not have hesitated to  say how elevated levels of methane contribute strongly to anthropogenic global warming (AGW).  One could be forgiven therefore to imagine an article about lower levels would mention something along the lines of “decreased growth rates of methane in the atmosphere may indicate a trend towards global cooling”.

But no.

Having FOUND the growth rate levels are down, we get the baseless supposition:

” there are suggestions that methane levels are now on the rise again.”

followed immediately by the new paragrpah

“Methane is regarded as one of the most potent greenhouse gases, trapping over 20 times more atmospheric heat than carbon dioxide. “

OK OK OK, this is the BBC – you gotta expect some crap, and the expectation sure don’t go by unmet.

By the way, in the medical profession, when certain increases are found e.g. Autism this is solely attributed to greater accuracy in diagnosis. But methane rates, either up or down, (how did they measure atmospheric methane in the industrial revolution? and who did that measuring? Ice core samples perhaps??).

There is also babble that the reason for the three decade decline in methane is because Asian farmers have switched to synthetic fertilisers instead of traditional manure fertilisers…Oh, so that over 30 years we much greater head of cattle producing much more cattle dung irrespective of whether it’s used in a paddy or not isn’t relevant. Marvellous.

“”We think the trend we see in methane is best explained by dramatic changes in emissions linked to fossil fuel production and use which seem to have declined in the 1980s and 1990s. “

Errrm…

Source: http://gailtheactuary.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/world-fossil-fuel-production-bp.png

Yeah, pretty conclusive decline there.

Yet more…

“Climate sceptics who think that natural factors and not human activities play a more important role in temperature rise…”

Frist of all, one again look how it’s temperature “RISE” inclined, and in no way suggestive that the reduction in growth rate may signal a turning point towards a period of global cooling, hene deserving the script: “spectics believe natural factors could cause more cooling than anthropogenic factors”.

And what of the term “Climate sceptics”? What does this really mean? Is it supposed to mean people who deny there is a climate??? Is deployment of this term meant to ridicule? Shouldn’t the description be something along the lines of “sceptics of well publicides claims regarding levels of AGW” by the likes of the Al Gore and East Anglia Universities ‘Climatic Research Unit’ each of whom have been embroiled in questionable behaviour” etc?

And is the quoted sentence above saying ALL so called “climate sceptics” are like this? It could refer to just a particular subset but then it the sentence doesn’t really make much sense to single them out. It seems the claim is indeed aimed at ALL sceptics.

and to top it off…

“I think both studies are actually suggesting that human activities are playing a very important role in determining the methane levels in the atmosphere,” he explained.

As we use more and more fossil fuels, you can be sure it will start creeping up again slowly, I think it demonstrates pretty clearly that human activities have direct and pretty profound impacts on the levels of these gases in the atmosphere.”

This Dr Murat Aydin seems like an idiot to me. How does the result lead one to exclue natural factors? I guess by this very idiocy that Aydin is a pro-AGWer. He totally inverts what is FOUND… There is no creeping up at all. If anything there is a creeping down, no wait, the article says earlier on that the reduction was “substantial”

How crap.

P.S., today I heard Captain Planet (who does nothing against banks, governments and corporations what are raping the environment for a fist full of dollars) say:

“If the population keeps growing the way it is, tere will be too many people everywhere” – Captain Planet

Why do I have a feeling I know just which people dear Captain Planet would like to see a reduction in?

Global warming by microwaves and not CO2

Microwaves can cause polar molecules to rotate. When they rotate they can lose their ‘microwaved’ energy by rotational based collisions, dissipating the energy in the form of heat in the process. That’s how a microwave oven works. Or so the theory goes.

Water is particularly sensitive to the microwaves, particularly the wavelengths employed in ovens.

Here then is a spur-of-the-moment thought.

Cellular communication (‘mobile phone’) networks need to be cellular due to signal drop off over relatively short distances. I speculate this is due to water and polar pollutants absorbing the microwaves. These molecular/particulate absorbers will therefore convert that EM radiation into heat radiation.

So IF what I say above is true, and 120 -> 380 ppb CO2 was such a big deal in terms of global warming, why then are are microwaves not demonized, especially given their proliferation over the last decade? Is it simply because nobody has (yet) thought of a way to milk money from people be cracking down on mobile phone use? so the chance they may contribute to global warming doesn’t matter?

Note : I don’t know the frequency that cellular networks broadcast on, the intensity of signal transmission or what the absorbtivity is at the wavelengths used.

Mark Dice and Invisible Empire – A New World Order Defined

I’ve finished watching Invisible Empire – A New World Order Defined by Jason Bermas. It features a guy called Mark Dice, an author and anti-NWO campaigner who I’ve never consciously come across before. I like the kinds of things Dice says so I’m adding his website to my links. You could do worse than to go to his site and check it out, or buy his books (no, I’m not on commission).

Here’s just one of a set of clips featuring Mark (I’m putting it first ‘cos I need a laugh).

As for the movie – Invisible Empire – A New World Order Defined I thought it was very good indeed, as was The Obama Deception.

Quite a few people criticise Alex Jones (and his ‘stable’) for example becasue Alex is softly-softly on Israyhell (unless the USS Liberty is under discussion), but what the Jones stable do very well, is use mainstream media, FACTUAL government documents, declassified documents, secret memos, along with government spokespersons to make their point – esxposing THAT level of the NWO.

A couple of people get very strung up about one or two trivial errors Jones himself made, e.g. when he got the date of the 2005 UK election wrong and from that, they therefore seem to ignore a lot of what the Jones said, some people also seem to dismiss him beacuse of his tone. His detractors are by the way supposedly in oppositon to the fake-glossy-magazine world we are encouraged to believe in. The monumental egos within the anti-NWO movement aside, I’ll reiterte that I think Jones has a vital role – one that he does very well – in taking on and exposing the particular level of the shadowy elite that he deals with.

I on the other hand believe the conspiracy doesn’t just stop with the ultra rich, as to me, the NWO is grounded in satanism, religious apocylapse and the anti-Christ.

What a cheery outlook I have on life, huh!

anyway, here you go…

Authority and rules

Who has authority to tell us what to do?

Who can arrest us, try us and then punish us? Who can order us to pay tax, stop us watching or reading something?

Why are they able to do so?

The third point, “why”, is easily answered, because in any society there MUST be rules. A society without rules leads to abuse or infringement of one individual(s) upon another.

But so too do these abuses and infringements happen in a society with rules, as point two suggests. If when living in the UK I refuse to pay tax to the government to that my money wont contribute to the disgusting things it does with such passion – like killing over a million Iraqi’s or far more significantly using this fraudulent economic system as a means imposing global misery on about 1.4 billion people i.e. people earning $1 a day or less – a statistic which in August 2008, the World Bank announced with an underlying meaning that escapes words, the figure should be changed to $1.25 a day[1].

It could easily be argued that actually the more rules a society has, the more abuses and infringements occur because there are other factors to consider which haven’t yet been mentioned. Spin offs of this can also be seen in the field of “identity documentation” and records. Stories of identity theft have made it into the news provoking the knee-jerk reflexive action from “tough” politicians saying they will do more to protect people from identity theft…. by introducing more forms of personal identity of course!

“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.” – Historian, Baron John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton in 1887.

the Baron was right. The megalomania complex within man (or whispered into his ears) has produced filthy killers like Firaoun, King Herod, Richard The “Lionheart”, The Young Turks, Stalin, Begin, Pol Pot, Idi Admin, Joseph Kony, Tony bLiar and Bush II. All of these men acted in societies with rules, their rules – rules which in some cases may have been lacking in quantity but more than made up for in enactment.

So we need rules but rules can cause problems – even greater problems then they are supposed to solve. There seems no escape, but it is essential to pointed out that it’s the abuse of the ‘rules of society’ and most importantly the inflation in the quantity of rules (or inflexibility of those rules) and the plutocratic acquisition/application of those rules which all must be avoided. This side and the other extreme i.e. the society with no rules are to be avoided. Here the middle path carpeted with dew glistening lotus flowers in contrast to the burning coals of the extremes.

This means there are times where rules and their authoritarian use must can rejected, as for example with paying tax to a deplorable government.

It also means that one should not cave in to security guards abusing their power…

Absolutely crushed, like a gnat under an atmosphere of pure man made CO2

I have been absolutely crushed over on Craig Murray’s site in a discussion about Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW).

Yes, that’s right, I’ve been pounded so hard with the most astute intellectualism, that I have been forced to whimper out of the discussion there. I simply became too embarrassed when I put forward what I believed was legitimate questions for examination.

Yip. On this topic, beware the hoard of ultra sharp swordsmen for they will surely cut you to ribbons.

It is very much to the credit that none of the Zorro’s engaged in ad hominen attacks, taunts or smear attempts e.g. by accusing people of a counter opinion of working for the oil industry and therefore making anything they said factually wrong.

These modern day cyber Shusaku Chiba’s, laid the facts out bare as noble professionals do and examined systematically each one in great detail. Specific references of information were displayed for all to see – should one wish to cross-check the citations .

Every point the pro-AGW’ers put across, had their reciprocal kindly embraced then examined with careful egalitarianism.

It was established with crystal clarity that

1) it is imperative to spend billions in reducing the production of CO2.

2) There exists a fair scheme for doing step 1 above, it’s so simple that there’s not even any point in mentioning it!

3) The most bewildering source of uncomprehensible power within at least 4 light years of us,  i.e. the Sun, – an aspect of the debate which took centre stage in the discussion making it difficult to get a word in edgeways, was in the end found to be highlt irrelevant to climate change, sorry global warming.

4) The vast oceans covering about 2/3 of the planet and also hogged the discussion was like the Sun found to have no ability to temper any man made CO2.

4) The huge Boreal forests and remainder of the rainforests were found to have no impact either.

5) The initially touted pro-AGW scientific consensus’ quickly became non-issue too, but there was still a quantifies consensus more than offsetting the signatories to the Oregon petition.

6) The intellectual giants on Craig’s site, the majority of which were probably not scientists, nevertheless carried authoritativeness for the pro-AGW camp, but actual scientists who did sign the Oregon petition, weren’t competent enough or relatively too feeble minded to discuss the issues and have their opinions carry any weight.

7) ‘Hide the decline’ was taken out of context and actually means there was no decline, and there was no hiding of it either.

8) Computer code that is said to generate ‘hockey sticks’ when random data is fed into it, or returns ‘oops’ messages when the result isn’t to someone’s liking does not matter because hockey sticks are useful things and the game of hockey would become extinct with out them.

9) It’s anthropogenic CO2 that is the bane of Bangladeshi floods.

10) That energy reduction won’t decline, rather CO2 producing energy liberation will make way for this…

doesn’t merit discussion.

Guess I’ll have to re-evaluate this too:
