In defense of Dr. Andrew Wakefield

I’m afraid I have no sympathy for megaPharma and much of the (ill)health racket industry profession. That will probably cloud my judgement, but if so, I suspect it would be clouded far less than if I was pro-megaPharma. [Note: I don’t have much respect for economic aspects of my profession either, so don’t worry, it’s nothing personal]

In the same manner that I look up on GM food, i.e. it’s far better to avoid anything that has real and substantiated doubts of such potential seriousness, I feel it’s prudent to apply the same principle to Dr Wakefield of “MMR warning” fame.

VRAN stands in solidarity with international Vaccine Awareness and Autism groups in support of Dr. Andrew Wakefield who has been ruthlessly persecuted by the medical industry and the media since 1998 when he and colleagues published a small case study of 12 children whose parents reported that some of their children’s mental/behavioural regression and bowel disease followed MMR vaccine.

While the study did not claim to prove that the triple live virus MMR vaccine causes autism, Dr. Wakefield offered a cautionary recommendation that until more studies are done, a safer alternative was to give single measles, mumps and rubella vaccines spaced out over time. In retaliation, the British government withdrew availability of single vaccines, forcing parents to either accept MMR or not vaccinate at all.  In recent years both Canada and the U.S. have also withdrawn availability of single vaccines, effectively eliminating parental choice.

A furious medical establishment saw Wakefield’s study and recommendations as a threat to the almighty vaccine program and hit back with a stream of vindictive moves that culminated in the 2010 censure of Dr. Wakefield by the U.K.’s General Medical Council (GMC), removal of his license to practice medicine, and retraction by The Lancet of his 1998 case study.

Now, monopoly medicine’s big guns have declared all out war, this time trying to smear Wakefield with accusations of fraud in a British Medical Journal article by freelance journalist Brian Deer. Deer has been on a mission to discredit Wakefield for years. His attack article is an opinion piece that “doesn’t focus on the scientific finding of whether or not autistic children have inflammation in their gastrointestinal tract, which I believe is the crux of the original paper”, notes research scientist Professon Richard Deth.  His comments and a series of in depth reports from international authors examining the medical politics that have fuelled the Wakefield witch hunt, and why the autism/vaccine link remains a deep concern for growing numbers of parents are available on the Age of Autism website: http://www.ageofautism.com/

As early as 2001, Dr Peter Fletcher MB BS PhD, a former Principal Medical Officer with the Department of Health who served as Medical Assessor to the Committee on Safety of Medicines said that, “With all the benefits of hindsight, what may now be said about the decision to grant a Product Licence to MMR 10 or so years ago? Evidence on quality and efficacy was probably adequate so a decision had to be made on grounds of safety. Being extremely generous, evidence on safety was very thin. Being realistic there were too few patients followed up for insufficient time. Three weeks is not enough….. neither is 4 weeks.”

And in a 2006 Daily Mail article Dr. Fletcher said, “The refusal by governments to evaluate the risks properly will make this one of the greatest scandals in medical history”. He said he has seen a “steady accumulation of evidence” from scientists worldwide that the measles, mumps and rubella jab is causing brain damage in certain children. But he added: “There are very powerful people in positions of great authority in Britain and elsewhere who have staked their reputations and careers on the safety of MMR and they are willing to do almost anything to protect themselves.”

The persecution of Andrew Wakefield is part of a strategy to cover up the fact that British medical officials failed to adequately safety test MMR vaccine when it was introduced in 1988 or to warn parents that it contained a reactive Urabe strain mumps vaccine.  Unbelievably, they purchased the reactive MMR vaccine that injured scores of children, knowing full well that Canada and the U.S. had abandoned its use earlier because it caused meningitis in a number of children. Prior to Andrew Wakefield raising MMR concerns, there were already hundreds of British families litigating in a class action suit over their children’s MMR vaccine injuries

One month after Dr. Wakefield’s 1998 paper, a study of vaccine injury claims by US government scientists in the journal Pediatrics found that 48 claimants developed encephalopathy (brain inflammation) within 15 days after receiving an attenuated measles vaccine, resulting in severe neurological sequelae, permanent brain injury or death. The study reviewed the medical records of affected children over a 23 year period from 1970-1993.

Initially, a total of 403 claims of encephalopathy and/or seizure disorder after measles, MR, MMR, mumps or rubella vaccination were identified during the 23 year period.  The studied narrowed its review to 48 eligible children.

“A total of 48 children, ages 10 to 49 months, met the inclusion criteria after receiving measles vaccine, alone or in combination. Eight children died, and the remainder had mental regression and retardation, chronic seizures, motor and sensory deficits, and movement disorders. The onset of neurologic signs or symptoms occurred with a nonrandom, statistically significant distribution of cases on days 8 and 9.” –Pediatrics, Vol. 101, No 3, March 1998.

The study authors concluded that, “This clustering suggests that a causal relationship between measles vaccine and encephalopathy may exist as a rare complication of measles immunization.”

Other earlier case reports have also found similar neurological complications following the administration of live attenuated measles vaccination.  A 1973 review of 84 patients with the onset of neurological disorders within 30 days (1963 to 1971) was noted in the 1998 Pediatrics study along with other reported clusters of persistent brain inflammation and death following measles vaccination.

A January, 2010 Pediatrics Medical Consensus Report acknowledges that bowel illness is far more common in autistic children.  “Gastrointestinal disorders and associated symptoms are commonly reported in individuals with ASDs, but key issues such as the prevalence and best treatment of these conditions are incompletely understood.” (Pediatrics Vol. 125. Supplement Jan. 2010.

VRAN maintains that vaccines carry a risk of injury and death, that vaccines can cause brain inflammation and injury in susceptible individuals.  It is medically well known that brain inflammations caused by disease or vaccines can trigger seizures, neurological disorders and autistic behaviours.  Since the Wakefield paper, clearcut evidence has emerged that a syndrome of brain injury, and death sometimes occurs after children are injected with live attenuated measles or combination measles, mumps & rubella vaccine.

We stand with the National Autism Association(NAA), Age of Autism in the U.S. and Child Health Safety in the UK who are very concerned that the medical community has no answer as to what is driving the autism epidemic amongst today’s highly vaccinated North American and British children, yet attack anyone who draws attention to the plight of individuals who succumb to neuroimmune disorders following vaccination.

In Canada, Autism Montreal founder Carmen Lahaie tells parents to be prudent when it comes to vaccines. Her son was diagnosed with bowel disease and autism. Another mother, Évelyne Claessens, who wrote a book about curing her son of autism stopped the vaccine schedule for both her children after her eldest, now 7, developed autism spectrum problems at 18 months.

Parents like Claessens and Lahaie say they see Wakefield as a victim of a medical industry conspiracy rather than as a fraud. “We are hundreds of thousands of mothers crying the same thing around world – that vaccines made our children autistic and no one wants to listen to us,” said Claessens in a Montreal Gazette article recently.

The NAA reported that, “One in 64 British children and one in 110 children in the US are now diagnosed with autism.  Increasing rates of autism in children are out of control”, said NAA spokesperson Wendy Fournier.  “Despite this pandemic, health officials and medical professionals continue to bury their heads in the sand while children and families suffer. The link between vaccines and the development of autism in susceptible individuals is not going away, because the children are not going away.”

While the Public Health Agency of Canada admits that, “Data on the prevalence of learning disabilities among Canadian children are not readily available at the national level”,  and does not specify the number of children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders, we have no reason to believe the statistics would be very different from the U.S.  PHAC does indicate from a 2004 analysis that, “as many as 15% of Canadian children and youth are affected by a mental disorder at any given time”, and that, “The prevalence of pervasive developmental disorders, including autism, Rett syndrome and Asperger syndrome, is estimated to be between 27.5 and 70 per 10,000 children aged 1 to 14 years.”

The National Autism Association press release stated that,  “In recent years, US Federal Vaccine Court has conceded multiple times that immunizations have led to cases of autism, or “autistic-like” symptoms, and multiple sub-symptoms associated with the disorder. According to the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in 2008, 1322 cases of vaccine injury compensation settled out of court by the US Government in unpublished settlements.  According to a statement from HRSA: “We have compensated cases in which children exhibited an encephalopathy, or general brain disease.  Encephalopathy may be accompanied by a medical progression of an array of symptoms including autistic behavior, autism, or seizures.”

The vicious persecution of Dr. Wakefield doesn’t change the facts on the ground –  that tens of thousands of children in North America and the UK have suffered varying degrees of neurological injury following the injection of multiple vaccines including MMR, that autism numbers are increasing as young babies are subjected to as many as 8 or 9 vaccines at the same time, and that independent studies comparing the long term health outcome of fully vaccinated children and unvaccinated children have never been done.  Until such studies are done, no one can claim that vaccines are risk free.

We are very concerned that unlike the U.S. and UK,  there is no compensation system for vaccine injury victims in Canada (except province of Quebec).  As well, the legal bar is set so high that vaccine injury victims attempting litigation cannot obtained Court awarded damages in this country.

Vaccine vaccine, happy slappy

The problem with an informed person is that they can see crap when crap is spoken. Take this Mexican Swine Flu (I find the morphing of it’s name rather interesting – do you?), or novel A H1N1 virus scam.

Regular readers will know I’ve been very critical of the utterly baseless ‘more dangerous mutant strain’ lobbox and I’ve previously argued that if the mutant strain is now te most significant threat – the potential ‘mass killer’ we must all fear, then if the virus does mutated, it nullifies the current crop of vaccines.

 

Oh dear. It seems they forgot about that – or didn’t expect (many)people to realise that. Amazing what just a pinch of logic and normal thinking can achieve. 

“They” were (of course) just relying on the peoples ‘idiot factor’ to slavishly follow a.k.a. ‘trust’, those ‘health professionals’ that assure us they know things we couldn’t possibly understand.

So what to do in the face of logic arguments? Simple. You talk the particular strain of lobbox that suits you at any particular time.

So our dearly beloved esoterically statured health professionals talk-the-talk that makes us scared, wanna buy Tamiflu, and masks. When the people realise the projjected nightmare isn’t in fact happening, ‘more deadly mutant strain’ is rolled out. When people complain that 4 weeks of ‘testing’ (LOL) is ridiculous, then assurances the ‘fast tracking’ isn’t any less safe (can you believe this crap?). Then, when people realise the lobbox that’s been spouted out that the vaccine wont protect against their  ‘more deadly mutant strain’, now all of a sudden there is no evidence of mutation (at least until that is, until hundreds of millions will have been vaccinated).

Oh yeah, if you’re interested, a snapshot of my stance:

Vaccination may have a function to play, but history and common sense shows that when companies stand to make millions and millions of dollars, they will cheat their horrid little buns off to make those millions, no matter what ‘little’ person stands in their way.

If vaccination does have a role to play, it must be done with TOTAL freedom of information. All records of conceptualisation, design, synthesis, safety and accounting should be made available to any independent groups made up of citizens. It should be possible to conduct random sampling by any citizen who requests it.

In medical emergencies, vaccine and medical companies should have forced upon them, a ‘public service status’ whereby they are compelled to provide vaccines AT COST PRICE (again accounting measured assessed by civilian groups).

Vaccines should NOT be developed from other animal species, including the blood/kidneys of green monkeys, or in eggs etc.

Vaccines should be offered as a choice with no repercussions of ostracisation should one decide not to vaccinate.

Breaches of health protocols by vaccine manufacturers, administers and even distributors and those involved with logistics, should experience a fast-track to court.

I really don’t like the health profession is allowed to run on a company profit basis.

Would you like a slap with that vaccine?

Damn the idiots who scoffed and rolled their eyes, muttering things like ‘conspiracy theorist!’ when good people, people free or much more free from ‘conflict of interest’, tried to educate and bring you to a position whereby you would just STOP, look around, then begin to assess the utter crap the BBC and other newz {‘newz’ because they certainly can’t be called ‘news’} outlets were falling over themselves to broadcast about “novel A H1N1”.

If you did come across some of the things ‘conspiracy theorists’ were saying and you still ate your Tamiflu, shovelled it don the throats of your kids, ate you antibacterials(you dupe), donned your masks with gaping holes, then I hope you are ashamed of yourself.

What do you mean you were acting on medical advice? Lobbox! You were acting primarily from your own sheer laziness and abdication of your own responsibility to do some work and learn something impinging upon your life. As well as idleness, you once again, allowed the fear factory to touch your soul, giving General Practitioners who know of your ignorance and occasionally use it in order that they may rub their hands in glee at the prospect of a good week on the ledgers. Consultation fears, pharmaceutical commissions, mask sales and so on. GP’s who are marginally less ignorant about vaccination than you but from my experience, more ignorant than some Joe Bloggs from the street who’s spent half a couple of days researching about virus’s, Tamiflu claims, FDA and CDC documentation, the history of vaccination and the financial prostitution of the government and corruption of the health industry (yes INDUSTRY) all with an eye to making a quick buck whether it kills you or not.

This isn’t M.D. bashing. It IS ‘corrupt M.D. bashing’ and its YOU bashing.

Whats recently been said about Tamiflu, novel (A)H1N1 masks, vaccines and more, has been a scam. People have made millions of junk dollars out of it.

Very early on I detected the signs of the scam. particularly relating to Tamiflu, then later in vaccines. I did my part to try and bring peoples attention to it. Many didn’t care to listen, having little ability to think and research themselves.

An it isn’t the first time.

Fear has and is being used on a large scale to get us to things that otherwise we wouldn’t.

The danger of course is that should there ever be a serious virus attack (or even a biological outbreak) and
a) Your an ultra sceptic, you may under-rate the real threat and face increased risk
b) Your a human sheep and will take any crap vaccine or synthetic poison into your body.

Either way, ultra-sceptics and sheep are ripe for mass slaughter. This is the worst of both worlds.

The powers that be who run this world unarguably value their lives way above yours. This isn’t the normal self-preservation that you or I might have for ourselves, because theirs is so extreme that they are willing to INDUCE sickness death slavery starvation and death (even child abuse and perhaps even child sacrifice) for their benefit.

So sceptics, beware. If you really believe they are to reduce the worlds population from 6,700 million to something like 500 million, your scepticism may be used against you.

Be wise and be vigilant, stay healthy and build good widespread relations.

BBC Baloney – protecting Merck’s commercial interests

Hilleman:  Well that was in Merck, I came to Merck and I was going to develop vaccines, and we had wild viruses in those days, you remember the wild monkey kidney virus’s and so forth, and I finally after six months gave up. I said that you cannot develop vaccines with these damn monkeys. Were finished and if I cant do something about it I’m gonna quit. Am I going to try it? So I went to see Bill Mann at the Zoo in Washington DC and I told Bill Mann, I said “Look, here’s a, I got a problem, I don’t know what the hell were doing, Bill Mann is a really bright guy, and I said these lousy monkeys are picking it up  while being stored in the airports, in transit at these loading offloading and loading. He said its very simple. He said you go ahead get the monkeys out of west Africa, and get the African Green, bring ‘em into Madrid. Onload them there, there are no other traffics through there for animals, Fly them into Philadelphia, pick ‘em up. Or fly them pick ‘em up in New York and pick ‘em up. Right off the airplane.

[2:16] Hilleman: So I brought African Greens in. I didn’t know we were importing AIDS virus of course at the time.”

Dr Maurice Hilleman, pioneer of over 40 vaccines, believed this is where HIV came from. I wish I knew the date he was interviewed.

In that typically disgraceful article, the BBC says:

“Although HIV/Aids was first recognised by scientists in the 1980s, it is thought it first entered the human population early in the twentieth century in the region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The virus probably originally jumped into humans after people came into contact with infected bush meat.

SIV viruses have been reported in other primates, including gorillas.”

“It is thought” – This is a classic piece of modern day junk journalism. Even wikipedia calls this ‘weasel words’ and warns against it. Andwhen seemingly factual points are given, wikipedia in an attempt to improve the quality of its entrys, often suffixs’ the statement with [citation neeed]. Even wikipedia is putting the BBC to shame.

So BBC, who thinks this? What are those supposed ‘thoughts’ based on?  Why not quote the words of Dr. Maurice Hilleman himself, who said it came from African Green monkeys, which MERCK exploited and ultimately gave HIV/AIDS to the world.? What of that BBC? – you sheishmeisters!  

The BBC’s miserable junk continues: “The virus probably originally jumped into humans after people came into contact with infected bush meat.” – ‘Probably’ & ‘originally’. Again BBC, who exactly thinks this? Who thought it was possible? Names and data if you please! How can your miserable attempt to give an explanation that avoids litigation square with the fact that Gorilla and chimp bushmeat were consumed for thousands of years! It’s pathetic! Come on BBC try and haul yourself out of the presstitutes red light house and act like a news organisation for a change. Are you watching Helen Boaden you most notorious of newz madams.

You see, by spitting out this liquid poo, the BBC helps MERCK avoid hundreds of millions of law suits which could and should bankrupt the company. Yet another example of the mergence of the established media with corporate interests. It may not even be deliberate but the culture and the career pathway in writing this slime opens up to people who already have the predisposition to let corporatism flow from their pen. It’s becoming a way of life.

Can the BBC be sued for spreading bullshit like this? If there is a MERCK friendly plant in the BBC, for example someone with MERCK shares or someone that benefits from MERCK’s financial success, then it’s very there is indeed a case for at least the prosecution of a individual if not the BBC. But newspaper and magazines companies get sued for carrying libel and stuff like that so hopefully the BBC couls also be subject to that.

And MERCK, oh MERCK, I hope every victim of your vaccine death bombs an grieving relatives sue the crap out of you.

Comfortable self-containment of the fearful mind

I mentioned earlier that lady who vaccinated her son against measles, who then went on to get measles.

Amongst our discussion, the issue of autism in children due to vaccination was raised. The lady in question said cases of autism appeared to jump, because we had become better at diagnosing it. She had no proof, and I think she was just repeating this line of ‘reasoning’ that she had heard from someone else – which everyone does to varying degrees. Whatever. The posibility she hit upon had been inflated into a fact by her, perhaps in a last ditch attempt to throw one more barrier infront of her own sense of reason, so she wouldn’t at the bare minimum have to acknowlege the autism could be related to vaccination.

But can you see how this is all playing out? Dangerous diseases increase because we diagnose them, NOT because various medical practices are rsponsible.

What of this swine flu? The picture that is emerging is that it isn’t a serious as we thay (deliberately) lead us to believe. Ireland and Italy now have cases of swine flu.

Let me make a statement at this point then: The cases of swine flu seem to be increasing because we are getting better at checking for and diagnosing it.

Why not?

The answer why I am wrong, is the same for swine flue as it was in the case of the lady above:

Autism isn’t a function of vaccines because there are ‘big bucks’ to play for.
Swine flu hasn’t always been with us and we are just better at diagnosing it. It’s a pandemic because there are ‘big bucks’ to play for.

Just like GM foods, banking, war and globalisation, politics.

Funny that.
