BLAIR INVITATION: Blair’s a blot on this lecture series

There is worldwide opposition to the near-ritualistic resource-thieving imperialistic slaughter of innocents around the world by those that say they are leading us(to our graves). It very much fragmented however; but sometimes unavoidably so in order to foment awareness and coordination somewhere in the global village.

The World Tribunal on Iraq (WTI) was somewhat of an extraordinary event. It brought together humans(with souls and compassion) from across the planet, to do what needed to be be done. Unfortunately due to it’s lack of ‘official’ clout, it’s findings have yet to be carried out. The ‘system’ isn’t entertaining the WTI and that’s natural enough, after all, the system is often only interested in enforces the ‘justice’ which sustains itself.

This brings me onto that most horrific of men Tony Blair. He’s winging his way around this part of the Globe at the considerable expense of the British taxpayer – not his expense you will note. Just like liar Blair delivered lectures in the US, he’s gave a lecture in “University Malaya” reputed to be Malaysias top University. And he lectured on Law. His disgraceful presence didn’t go unnoticed or unprotested. Here’s the contents of an e-mail one of my knowledgeable friends sent to me featuring one of Malaysia’s finest minds, Dr. Chandra Muzzafar. He wrote to one of Malaysia’s papers about this killer on the loose…

BLAIR INVITATION: Blair’s a blot on this lecture series

By : DR CHANDRA MUZAFFAR, President International Movement for a Just World (JUST)

Dr. Chandra Muzzafar :)
“How could local human rights lawyers and human rights activists, who are quick to react to the slightest human rights transgression in the country, listen to the lecture of a man who helmed a war borne of monstrous lies and monumental deception — a war which because of the huge human carnage and the devastating impact upon an entire nation constitutes the most heinous human rights violation of the 21st century?”

Three years ago, the World Tribunal on Iraq (WTI) charged the British government, then under prime minister Tony Blair, and the United States government of George W. Bush with “planning, preparing and waging the supreme crime of a war of aggression in contravention of the United Nations Charter and the Nuremberg Principles”.

The tribunal also charged the two governments with targeting the civilian population of Iraq and civilian infrastructure; using disproportionate force and weapons systems with indiscriminate effects, such as cluster munitions, incendiary bombs, depleted uranium and chemical weapons; subjecting Iraqi soldiers and civilians to torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment; and failing to protect humanity’s rich archaeological and cultural heritage by allowing the looting of museums and historical sites and positioning military bases in culturally and archeologically sensitive locations.

These charges were made after deliberations by the WTI’s 14-member Jury of Conscience, of which I was a member. The jury met in Istanbul from June 24 to 26, 2005, at the end of a series of 20 hearings held in different cities of the world. In Istanbul alone, we heard 54 testimonies from advocates and witnesses from across the world, including Iraq, the US and Britain.

The panel was headed by one of the world’s most distinguished authorities on international law, Professor Emeritus Richard Falk.

Among the recommendations of the jury were “that there be an exhaustive investigation of those responsible for the crime of aggression, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Iraq, beginning with Bush and Blair, those in key decision-making positions in these countries and in the Coalition of the Willing, those in the military chain-of-command who masterminded the strategy for and carried out this criminal war, starting from the very top and going down; as well as personalities in Iraq who helped prepare this illegal invasion and supported the occupiers”.

Though Blair has not been convicted by a court of law like the International Criminal Court in The Hague, the fact that a tribunal “located in the collective conscience of humanity”, representing the citizenry of the world, has charged him with war crimes and crimes against humanity in Iraq should make any peace-loving person sit up and take notice. And yet, the University of Malaya saw fit to invite Blair to deliver the 22nd Sultan Azlan Shah Law Lecture on Aug 1 in Kuala Lumpur.

Have the organisers of the lecture series forgotten that their guest speaker is the initiator (together with Bush) of an unjust, immoral war that has already killed more than 1.2 million people, the vast majority of them civilians, and maimed tens of thousands of others? How could local human rights lawyers and human rights activists, who are quick to react to the slightest human rights transgression in the country, listen to the lecture of a man who helmed a war borne of monstrous lies and monumental deception — a war which because of the huge human carnage and the devastating impact upon an entire nation constitutes the most heinous human rights violation of the 21st century?

It is sad but true that the act of honouring Blair has demeaned the Sultan Azlan Shah Law Lecture series and tarnished the University of Malaya.

I replied to my friend and the other cc’ers…(amended)

Last week I was sickened to discover that Tony Blair, the joint killer of over one million people (and that’s just in Iraq!) was being treated as a dignitary as he toured around KL. When in fact, he should have been treated to a cell pending trial for his horrific crimes against humanity.

The World tribunal on Iraq (WTI) is legendary for doing what the mainstream deliberately failed and continues to fail to do, which is: put the genocide in the public spotlight in its wicked and brutal form and advocate bringing its architects to justice.

It is almost diagnostic that just three short days after Blair spoke, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a man who borne witness to the repugnant violence man inflicts upon his fellow man left us forever. Solzhenitsyn was just one of many thousands of men spanning thousands of years, whose message we still ignore, and are deceived into ignoring.
I often ask myself, sometimes with tears rolling down my cheeks, when will the world shun merciless killers like Tony Blair?

To rub salt into the wounds, the hundreds of millions of wounds by his hands, Mr. Blair has the nerve to lecture us about law and that globalisation is benign.

This monster of a man is not just a savage killer, he’s a pathological liar.

Of course when Blair talks about law he means the law that benefits him and his interests, not the kind of law that Chris Coverdale and others at the Campaign to Make Wars History ( have proved is internationally leglisalated for, making the UK’s involvement (and many other nations besides) in war ILLEGAL. It’s called the 1928 by the International Treaty for the Renunciation of War [the Kellogg-Briand Pact]. You can read the laws yourself here:

So Mr. Blair, you amoral vampire, you most evil of men responsible for bringing tens of into millions to mourning by your legacy of death, how dare you lecture anyone about law.

I offer no apology for the fury you {Mr. Blair} constantly invoke within me.

I, along with hundreds of millions all over the planet, await your trial with much anticipation.

Tom Levitt NeoLabour MP – Profile of a parliamentary liar

Tom Levitt NeoLabour MP – Profile of a parliamentary liar.

MP’s are not allowed to call each other ‘liar’ in the chamber simply because many of the talent-less morally-hollow sell-outs most of them are, tell so many lies, they would be less efficient and more crap then they currently are.

MP’s who think they are “clever” don’t lie but spin, but of course spin, like lies, still stinks and reveals spinners for the dirty intellectual perverts they are. It is rare that they lie outright. Not so about the MP for High Peak, a region whose territory is about 30 miles east of Manchester.

This liars name is Tom Levitt.

As you can see below his LIES relate to Iraq, a subject which yields a bonanza of easily seen NeoLabour and their blue coloured twin Tory lies. I came across his putrid LIES in 2004 on his website subsection. / Toms views / Iraq Q&A Updated 21 July 2004. He has since tried to smother his LIES but Tom… I and others have gotcha! Your lies to justify the slaughter what was always going to be hundreds of thousands of granddad’s, grandmothers, mums, dads and kids.

“Over 2,300 schools have been rebuilt or re-equipped. Over 200 hospitals have been refurbished, with many delivering sophisticated additional services they had not previously provided. Cinemas, courts, markets, shops are all functioning. The Universities continued almost without disruption even during the war. Electricity and water supplies are, in most places, better than before… electricity demand is far higher than it used to be. This is because of a boom in the sale of white goods thanks to the strength of the new currency, 40% stronger than the old dinar. The new Iraqi police force is developing well

Other lies Tom tells:

A page updated 21st March 2005, Tom wrote:“the restoration of Iraq’s own security forces, its currency, its infrastructure and its trade unions; an improved standard of living…”

And this:

Others have also reaped the benefit of what happened in Iraq: in recent months there have been elections in Afghanistan; the prospect of real progress on Palestine with Sharon being forced into coalition with the ‘doves’; the ‘velvet revolution’ leading to Syrian wihdrawal [sic] from Lebanon and women getting the vote for the first time in at least three Arab states. There have been elections promised, local and/or national, in several others Arab states including Saudi Arabia. All of this, along with our commitment to fight world poverty, symbolises a real commitment to counter the causes of global terrorism in a sustainable way.” We will repay Iraq by leaving behind an open, democratic and free society there.”

He also said this on a “FAQ” pageThe military action in the spring of 2003 was measured and proportional. It did not lead to thousands of dead on both sides”

Tom poses a statement on the “FAQ” page saying: “Saddam had no connections with Al Queda” to which Tom replies: “Maybe not directly… Saddam had no connections with Al Queda… Even though there was not a good relationship between Saddam and bin Laden that does not mean they were not operating in the same murky world.”

Toms wisdom also says “The evidence available to the UN over many years was that Iraq was a possible future source of WMD technology for terrorist groups, including Al Queda.”

FAQ: “Isn’t this just about America getting its hands on Iraqi oil?”. Tom says “Absolutely not… oil has – for the first time in a generation – produced revenue which is entirely directed to rebuilding public services in Iraq..”

Another FAQ statement says “But there is anarchy in Iraq – you have failed” and Tom replies “No. A few towns and a very few extreme clerics and insurgents are campaigning against the coalition’s presence, by inciting attacks and condemning USA in speeches. Of course this is unfortunate, but it is not typical of most people and most towns in Iraq.” You can see numerous logical flaws in the statements above, some single statements containing more than one lie, but here I’d like to point something out. Tom says ‘ a few towns’ initially and that ‘extreme clerics’ and ‘campaign’. The angry bereaved sick and hungry people of Iraq don’t need some cleric ‘campaigning’, but then Tom says ‘its not untypical of most people and towns” FAQ statement: “Torture and humiliation of prisoners is not acceptable”

”I absolutely agree. The US soldiers responsible, at whatever level, have been found and punished.”

I made a record of some his July 2004 lies (archived) and MPAC did too, which I have used here.

To end I’d like to say, Tom, you’re a weasel word, filthy liar. You’ve got the blood of countless innocents upon your hands, I hope the screams of those you euphorically killed, NEVER let you conscience be in peace in this life and the next.

You’ve also broken international law in relation to war and genocide. See here and here (and its subsections) and here for details of the law you have broken. The Devil awaits you Mr. Levitt and he’s probably bluntening his trident right now in eager anticipation.
